Education is critical to the success of our great state; therefore, a well-educated citizenry is essential. We must ensure our children have a well-rounded primary education centered around critical thinking and reasoning, not simply passing a test. We spend far too much tax dollars every year funding school systems that too often fail our children. We need to start empowering families by funding students. Families should have the freedom to choose the best education for their child: public, private, charter, magnet, online, or homeschool.

Over two years ago, our state and local governments unilaterally reset our health care, culture, society, economy; with their 15 days to flatten the curve plan last March, our legislature has been silent on the issue. I will fight for:

  • Abolishing all public and private vaccine and mask mandates and business closure mandates.

  • Investigation of the vaccines. We need hearings with true experts about the waning efficacy, the risk of leaky vaccine syndrome, and the scope of the unreported short-term and long-term side effects.

  • Right to Try legislation that requires hospitals to give patients the right to try any FDA-approved drug prescribed by a licensed physician.

  • Legislation that protects a doctor’s Right to Prescribe and Practice Medicine so they may not be penalized for sharing documented medical information or their own professional experience and observations for speaking up against public officials, or be punished for prescribing any off-label (but FDA-approved) drug to treat COVID.

A free, secure, and fair system of elections is our birthright as Americans. The strength of our Republic rests in our ability to elect our representatives and be confident that our votes are counted. We must always remain vigilant to ensure that our elections remain secure and fair, and those who would defraud our elections system receive harsh penalties. Otherwise, all that we have fought for since our founding will be lost.

“The electoral system cannot inspire public confidence if no safeguards exist to deter and detect fraud or to confirm the identity of voters. Photo IDs currently are needed to board a plane, enter federal buildings, and cash a check. Voting is equally important.” ~2005 Carter-Baker Commission on Voting, “Building Confidence in US Elections

Secure and Fair Elections

The American family is the backbone of society. From the beginning, our Creator designed it to include a mother and father to both be in the home, raising their children together. Progressives have damaged and weakened society by removing God from our public discourse and pushing policies that have wreaked havoc on the family unit. Studies have shown, where possible, traditional family units produce the best results. To accomplish this, we must make the family thrive once again. We must get fathers more involved and engaged in their kids’ lives.

Our current failed decades-long border policy of wasting tax dollars and not securing our southern border is untenable. We must finish constructing our physical barriers along our border. We must continue to train and equip our State and Local law enforcement with the latest and most advanced tools and expand our intelligence capabilities and resources to protect our officers and citizens from the dangerous cartels that currently control our border.

I am all for LEGAL immigration, but we cannot continue to subsidize and legislatively encourage illegal border crossings.

Life begins at conception, and the protection of life should also start at conception. As a fervent advocate for the unborn, I will fight to codify unborn children as persons from the moment of fertilization. Humans, especially in their tiny embryonic stage of development, should not be used for lethal medical experimentation, including embryonic humans whose lives have begun through scientific means, including cloning. Our current system of tax-payer-funded infanticide can no longer be tolerated; I will fight to end the use of state and federal tax dollars that fund abortions directly, especially tax dollars received under education and healthcare grants.

On June 17, 2021, after a decade of failing to get to the floor for a vote, HB 1927 repealed a 150-year law dating back to the Alamo. It took Texans being engaged at every level along with the Gun Owners of America (GOA). My commitment to you is to protect your gun rights without compromise. The southern border being porous to date only strengthens my resolve. Every Texan should be able to defend their lives and property unhindered.
